Web analytics without a cookie banner
We replace Google Analytics with cookie-free, self-hosted web analytics on Swiss hosting — and the consent dialog on your website disappears along with it.
The banner is a symptom, not a law of nature
Consent is only required when you track visitors: advertising cookies, profiles, data shared with third parties. If you count anonymously instead, there is nothing to ask — no tracking, no consent, no banner. The first impression of your website is its content again, not a consent dialog that 90% of visitors click away in annoyance.
What you still know: which pages get read, where visitors come from, which campaign works and where prospects drop off. For better content and measurable marketing, that is entirely sufficient.
How we proceed
- Inventory. What do you measure today, which of it does anyone actually look at — and which questions should your analytics answer going forward.
- Setup. Self-hosted analytics (Umami) on Swiss hosting or your own infrastructure — your data stays with you, none of it flows to the US.
- Migration. Campaign links, conversion events and reports are carried over; the old tracking is cleanly removed.
- Banner gone. Privacy policy and opt-out page get updated; the final legal review stays with your counsel — we deliver the technical foundation that keeps it short.
We don't sell anything we don't use ourselves
This website runs exactly this way: no cookie banner, self-hosted analytics, public opt-out. Why we built it like this is covered in theshort note about it — the same setup we install for clients.
Pricing
«Banner gone» package from CHF 2'900 fixed · CHF 250/h guideline for extras
Setup, migration and handover are plannable — so we work with a fixed-price package: you know the cost before we start. The hourly guideline applies to anything beyond that, such as custom reports or connecting additional systems.
