How this works
Every file has a fingerprint — a long number derived from its content. Change a single character and the fingerprint changes completely. Your browser computes it and compares it against our registry. We never see the file itself.
Whoever can produce the fingerprint already has the file. That is why we may show details on a match without giving anything away. The file is the key.
What this cannot do
An invoice from a sender who never registered anything cannot be checked here. This registry answers exactly one question —is this from AnalytikData — and answers it completely. It currently holds 175 entries.
